Booking Terms and Conditions

Updated on 15th April 2008

1. ABOUT GOLF PEMBROKESHIRE

Golf Pembrokeshire is marketing cluster of golf courses and accommodation providers.

2. CHANGES TO INFORMATION & PRICES

Every effort has been made to ensure the accuracy of the information in Golf Pembrokeshire's printed media, website and emails. However, changes and errors can occur and customers are advised to check details with the venues before booking. The venues featured on this website reserve the right to withdraw, make changes to, or correct errors in itineraries, prices and other details at any time before your booking is confirmed.

3. VENUE INFORMATION

Golf Pembrokeshire provides details about accommodation providers and golf courses through its website. However, some changes regarding venues, conditions, grading and facilities may not be available at the time of booking or may occur without notice thereafter. Golf Pembrokeshire cannot be held responsible for the effect of these unforeseen changes, and customers are advised to contact the venues direct to confirm details.

4. BOOKINGS

Bookings are handled directly by the individual venues. Please refer to their terms and conditions.

5. CANCELLATIONS, AMENDMENTS & INSURANCE

Customers are reminded that a booking is a legally binding contract. If you cancel or alter your booking, you may still be liable to pay. It is recommended that you take out cancellation insurance when placing a booking. Should you have to cancel your booking for any reason, please inform the venues concerned immediately. Amendments to bookings are subject to availability and some venues may make an additional charge for this.

6. HANDICAP CERTIFICATES

Whilst a handicap certificate is not essential on all courses, knowledge of the rules and etiquette of golf are expected and each golf course reserves the right to refuse access if they judge that individuals do not display the required knowledge. Contact the courses concerned for requirements in relation to playing ability.

7. CLUB RULES & DRESS CODE

• Club rules must be followed at all times and are available on application from each club

• Slow play should be avoided; rounds of over 4 hours are not normally acceptable

• Appropriate dress and footwear should be worn at all times on the courses and in clubhouses

• Contact the golf clubs concerned for dress code requirements

• Golf Courses reserve the right to prohibit anyone they deem to be dressed inappropriately.

8. PLAYING CONDITIONS

The playing condition of the courses may vary from time to time due to essential works or adverse weather conditions. As the timing often depends on weather conditions, it is not always possible to predict when this will occur. Golf played on temporary greens and tees is non-refundable and is considered to be an accepted part of playing winter golf. Trolley and buggy bans occur frequently when a course is wet. Any decisions regarding refunds of green fees in these circumstances are at the discretion of the golf club and are final.

9. COMPLAINTS

If you experience any problems please inform the golf club or accommodation provider concerned immediately.
